Who We Are
prelytics® is the technological arm of U-Glow GmbH and supports you in the evaluation and development of AI-based software solutions and architectures in order to efficiently digitalise your business processes, further develop your skills and optimise your use of resources.
Our strengths lie in the areas of generative AI, large language models (LLM) and data analytics.
Since our foundation in 2020 as part of U-Glow GmbH, we have carried out numerous projects in the fields of machine learning, data analytics, IoT, Industry 4.0 and secure communication systems.
We work with scientific methods and the latest findings from research and engineering. Based on our many years of industrial experience, we systematically integrate algorithms and IT systems based on your specific requirements.

Our History
U-Glow was founded in 2020 by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Kai Daniel and Prof. Dr. Julia Thalmann, from whose commitment prelytics® emerged. We see ourselves as a trusted partner for projects in the fields of energy and water management, Industry 4.0, public administration, medicine/healthcare and finance.
Our focus is on the evaluation, integration and optimisation of generative AI, large language models (LLM), data analytics and machine learning systems.
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Kai Daniel, a visionary engineer, has gained outstanding expertise in the development and modelling of intelligent communication and information systems through his management positions at RWE, Carl Zeiss and KUKA as well as his professorship at the Ruhr West University of Applied Sciences and the University of Siegen. His experience in the fields of IT security, the energy industry and public administration always provides innovative impulses for the secure integration of new technologies into business-critical processes.
His ability to combine academic depth with practical technology development enables us to implement state-of-the-art technological solutions.
Prof. Dr. Julia Thalmann, whose academic career led her to become Professor of General Business Administration with a focus on Retail & E-Commerce at the Ruhr West University of Applied Sciences, brings valuable experience from senior positions at Henkel and Johnson & Johnson.
Her experience in strategic brand management and customer management as well as in the development of market-orientated solutions strengthens our capabilities in the market launch of new technologies and the design of customer-oriented services.
Daniel Gronert, Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Technology, has joined the management team. With extensive experience in management positions at e-on, in asset management and technical risk management and as head of network management at RWW, he enriches our team with in-depth technical knowledge and organisational skills.
